South Zanesville – David A. “Fup” Taylor, 63, of South Zanesville, died at 4:11 A.M. on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Genesis Hospital Emergency Room, Zanesville. He was born January 4, 1957, in Zanesville, a son of the late Robert and Lillian (Talley) Taylor. He was a United States Navy Veteran, a jack of all trades, but a master of mechanics. He was a bus driver for Maysville School District and a self-employed truck driver. Above all, his favorite job, other than fixing motorcycles, was beer delivery. He was the DDGM of the 18th District, past master at Honor Lodge #726, Gage and Gavel #448, Lodge of Amity #5, and a member of Muskingum Lodge #368, he was also an honorary member of the Dresden Lodge #103. Dave was a member of the American Legion, Amrou Grotto, York Rite, Widow’s Sons, Order of the Eastern Star #485, Monarch Elect of the Amrou Grotto, and a member of the Valley of Cambridge Scottish Rite.
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of thirty-eight years, Kimberly J. (Baldwin) Taylor whom he married October 9, 1982; a son, Jared (Laura) Taylor; a daughter, Heidi Taylor; four grandchildren, Hailey and Aiden Jendanklang and Peyton and Bailey Taylor; a brother, Perry (Terri) Taylor; two sisters, Nancy (Richard) Bell and Judy (David) Bowman; mother-in-law, Dianne Baldwin; a sister-in-law, Cherri (Butch) Kiffer; many nieces and nephews; and Masonic brothers and lifelong friends, both old and new.
